I live in Ankara and work remotely. I trained as a physicist at METU, where I wrote a thesis on neural networks for solar irradiation and taught first-year undergraduates for a while.
I have run tabletop role-playing games for over twenty years. Mage: the Ascension is the system I keep coming back to.Which explains a lot about D20 Companion. Twenty years of prep notes is a large, messy dataset, and I finally wanted the tooling I always wished I had. On a screen I play action roguelikes (Hades, both of them), Slay the Spire, Monster Train, and the XCOM games. At the table with other people: Eldritch Horror, Pandemic, Wingspan.
Reading, fiction: the Dresden Files, Iain M. Banks's Culture novels, The Wheel of Time, the Ender books. Non-fiction: Stoic philosophy and Jungian psychology. I have recently taken up painting and am not yet good at it.
